Alan was an unwavering champion of St. Clare’s. From the time his son and daughter-in-law founded the school in 2018, Alan never tired of telling the family how proud he was of this endeavor. Grandfather to nine of our students, he spent his last full day on earth at St. Clare’s at our Dads’ Day enjoying seeing his grandchildren show him all of their lessons. Alan had a knack for mathematics and especially enjoyed the Montessori approach in this area - he delighted in exploring the physical representation of complex mathematical concepts with his young grandchildren and was impressed with the advanced nature of their studies at St. Clare’s. He loved receiving our Lord in the Mass and delighted in seeing the school children fill up the pews each week.
This fund in his honor will be invested as an annuity to provide an annual scholarship to a family with financial hardship.

As with most private schools, tuition at Saint Clare's covers significantly less than the full cost of each child’s education. Because we are committed to providing a quality faith-based Montessori education at an accessible cost, we rely on your generosity to enable us to continue the important work of forming the next generation of young men and women of character and integrity who love our Lord, and what is True, Good and Beautiful.
